Logo as a Font

Scanned Images of Logos are large and cumbersome in size. When the image is used in a document the File size increases enormously.

Using a True Type Font in place of your graphic only requires a single character to be used in place of the entire graphic as the graphic is stored on the computer and attached to a letter on the keyboard, taking up only a couple of bytes regardless of image size.

Dr Adept can convert your logo into a high quality True Type font usable on any computer system at the touch of a button.

Attaching your logo to the letter A of a font would then only require a few steps to use the logo.

Using your logo
1. Select your font
2. Select a Colour
3. Press the letter (usually A) to type your logo

Your logo will then appear in place of the character used.

You can then highlight the logo (character) and resize as appropriate.

Most logos can be converted, however some shaded logos may be difficult or in some instances impossible to convert, if you are unsure please email a copy of your logo to us prior to making any payments.

Fonts use vectors to display the logo so you may produce your logo in any size without losing the detail.

Multi-Part Colour Logo Font

It is possible to convert multi-coloured or multi-part logos to a true Type Font and use different keyboard characters to produce the entire logo in different colours.

Multi coloured or multi part logos are made up of several characters that overlay each other when typed, change the colour between each character to create the multi-coloured effect.

Each part of the logo has a zero spacing so the cursor is returned to the left position ready for the next part of the logo, each part overlapping to form the completed logo.

Using your logo
1. Select the font
2. Select the colour
3. Type the character (usually in sequence A then B then C etc)
4. Go back to stage 2 and repeat for each part of your logo

Most logos can be converted, however some shaded logos may be difficult or in some instances impossible to convert, if you are unsure please email a copy of your logo to us and we can determine if it is possible to convert.

Handwriting as a Font

Have your Handwriting converted to a quality True Type Font. The font can then be used in place of a regular font to produce informal or personal letters.

The standard character set of A - Z, 0 - 9 and all punctuation characters are converted to ensure all documents can be displayed with your own handwriting.

Up to 3 doodles or scribbles can be included to add a bit more realism when you use the font.

How to send us your Handrwriting:

  • Download the Handwriting Sheet
  • Fill in all the boxes you wish to include.
  • Sign and print your name at the bottom.
  • Either post it or scan it and email it to Dr Adept, details shown on the sheet.
  • Pay by cheque or online using PayPal.
  • Font will be emailed or posted back.

Signature as a Font

Have your signature converted to a True Type Font and sign your name using one touch of a keyboard character.

Signature as a font is great if you write letters using your computer and do not want to sign every one or your PA or secretary needs to sign your documents in your absence.

Create a rubber stamp style signature font which can then be added, in any colour, to a mailshot and other documents.

How to send us your Signature:

  • Download the Signature Sheet
  • Sign as many times as you wish.
  • Choose the best signature.
  • Sign and print your name at the bottom.
  • Either scan the sheet and email it, or post it, to Dr Adept, details shown on the sheet.
  • Pay by cheque or online using PayPal.
  • Font will be emailed or posted back.

Bitmap to Vector

Many logos and corporate identities are created as bitmaps, which are great for printing in one size fits all, but sometimes you may need to print larger versions or even tweak the design a little.

Converting your Logo to a vector image allows you to get more out of your logo and use it in any situation and at any size.

Dr Adept can convert your company logo from JPG, PNG, BMP, TIF or other bitmap file, to a FW, PNG, AI, CDR or other vector format depending on your requirements.

There are many advantages to converting bitmaps to vectors.

Vector images can be resized to much larger versions ready for print or other high quality output without any degradation of image quality.

Vector images generally have a smaller file size and can reduce the size of many documents.

Vector images look cleaner and therefore much better and more professional than bitmaps.

Let Dr Adept convert your logo or other bitmap to a vector now.

Symbols Font

Symbols such as Investors In People and ISO 9000/2 can be compiled into one True Type Font making it easier for you to add logos and symbols to your documents.

Dr Adept can convert your symbol logos to fonts to make it easier for you to create your documents containing those symbols.

If you have any standards symbols that are required on documentation then converting them to fonts save time and effort in producing your documents as well as saving disk space as images would increase your file size considerably whereas fonts only take up a character for each symbol.
